OLOGRAM, A PLATEFORM BETWEEN ART AND FASHION
By Iris JEANSON
Ologram reimagines Paris’ transitional spaces, turning forgotten areas into dynamic platforms for creative expression. By occupying urban interstices, it creates a dialogue between abandonment and renewal, transforming these spaces into opportunities for innovation. Instead of focusing on the legacy of these areas, Ologram leverages their fluidity and impermanence to create something entirely new. It is currently located at 81 Boulevard Voltaire in the 11th arrondissement. Inside Ologram, you’ll find five carefully curated boutiques—Metallic Curtain, Flat Rack, Dot Comme, Atelier Oran, and Moratoire—that offer the most on-point selection of archive and antique fashion as well as vintage magazines and primitivist folk artefacts.
Breaking away from traditional structures, Ologram fosters seamless interaction among its participants, generating hybrid environments in constant flux. This dynamic interplay reflects the ever-changing pace of contemporary life, with the space serving as a canvas for ongoing transformation.
Today, Ologram is hosting an auction of Martin Margiela pieces from the early years of the designer spanning from 1988 to 1994. From January 21 to 30, Ologram will be open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, offering a unique experience. After Fashion Week, the space will continue welcoming visitors from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 AM to 7 PM. Ologram’s ephemeral nature and creative concept make it a must-visit destination, showcasing how fluid, ever-changing spaces can inspire new collaborations and redefine creative environments.
