KARL LAGERFELD SETS UP HIS CHANEL METIERS D’ART COLLECTION IN ROME’S CINECITTÀ STUDIOS
This season, Karl Lagerfeld chose Rome as the destination of his Chanel Métiers d’Art collection, and took inspiration from French actresses and Italian cinema. The collection was presented in the iconic Cinecittà Studios, inside the Teatro N°5, Frederico Fellini’s favorite studio, transformed for the occasion in the streets of Paris. Lagerfeld delivers a dreamy vision of Paris, which streets are always alive. It is a vision in black & white that recalls the décors by Alexandre Trauner. Always in black & white, we give you a glimpse inside the studios where most of the iconic Italian films of the 1930 were made.
