PAUL SMITH WILL PRESENT BOTH MEN AND WOMEN COLLECTION FOR FALL-WINTER 2017
As from Fall-Winter 2017 season, British designer Paul Smith will present its men and women collections on the same runway. A mixed fashion show which will be settled during Paris Menswear Fashion Week. A hint to his first menswear show, which took place in Paris in 1976. Knowing Paul Smith’s legacy and the fact that his vision of a woman wardrobe has always been inspired by suits and menswear codes in general, it is a logical step for the designer to mix both men and women collections. Paul Smith explains : “As an independent business, we can be very agile and address the changes in the evolving market in interesting ways. I’m excited to be taking the women’s catwalk show to join the men’s in the heart of Paris to where it all began in the seventies. Exciting times ahead!” And yes, we are excited to see what the iconic designer is up to for this Fall-Winter 2017. We only have to wait until January 22nd.
