For its spring-summer 2015 collection, Persol decided to turn a new page with the Typewriter edition. Directly inspired by a vintage typewriter, the glasses reinterpret in their frames one of the most iconic features of this cult object. The rivets bearing the letters of the old keyboards or the name of the collection engraved in typewriter font inside the arms are just a few details of many. The Persol Typewriter edition comes in three different models: two unisex, round models, and one with a much more masculine touch with its square frame. All three are available in different tones and with or without polar glasses. Like all Persol glasses, the three models from the Typewriter edition incorporate the exclusive Meflecto system, made of by three cylinders instead of two, that increases the glasses’ flexibility and maximizes comfort. As a celebration of this new collection, Persol invited the renowned author Bret Eeaston Ellis to embody the spirit of the season in the campaign’s pictures.
