POMELLATO AND DODO LAUNCH A CROWDFUNDING TO HELP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS

By Crash

In coordination with the Kering Group, the Pomellato house and DODO have launched a crowdfunding initiative to support women who are victims of domestic violence. Alarmed by the rising number of domestic incidents that have taken place since the beginning of the quarantine to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, Pomellato has urgently created a campaign, with the support of ambassadors and friends of the house, to raise funds to stop domestic violence. The rise of these horrible incidents was unfortunately expected as society is expected to stay home 24/7 with their families, whether there is abuse or not.

The funds raised will go directly to D.i.Re, the first Italian association against violence against women, which is supported by the Kering Foundation since 2013. There will also be financial support for CADMI (women’s house based in Milan supported by D.i.Re). Pomellato and DODO are committed to donating €100,000 as of now.
