Prada presented his Fall/Winter 2024 Menswear Fashion Show on January 14, 2024 inside the Deposito at Fondazione Prada in Milan.

The show set, created by design agency AMO, juxtaposing an office interior with a natural landscape. Models paraded on a glass floor revealing an autumn landscape dotted with yellowing leaves, in front of guests seated on office chairs.

The contrast between office life and the escapism provided by nature is the leitmotif of Prada’s new men’s collection.

The Prada Fall-Winter 24 collection named « Human Nature » reflects the concept of environment and seasons. There is a sense of the outdoors, an actuality of nature events, and a direct expression of the desire to go outside and experience the world.

“ It was meant for going outside. Normally I don’t do seasons-naked winter. But now, there’s a need to connect with reality and human nature” – said Muccia Prada at the Backstage after the show.

The Prada man’s silhouette is sleek and streamlined, with straight-leg trousers secured by a thick  belt, serving as a textured break between minimalism and maximalism.

The collection referring to the office dress code, prominently features traditional chic, including tweed jackets, turtleneck sweaters, three-button gray topcoats, and knit cardigans. Some double-breasted coats and beach sandals paired with office suits, complete the collection, torn between office life and the need for escape. 

This season, Prada continues to masterfully navigate the intersection of fashion and lifestyle, offering a collection that seamlessly blends the structured elegance of office wear with the liberating spirit of the outdoors. The juxtaposition of refined silhouettes and textured details creates a unique harmony, reflecting the dichotomy between professional life and the innate human desire for exploration and freedom.
