THE TRENDS / AZZEDINE ALAÏA IN THE 21ST CENTURY

The tunisian born « Little Prince of Couture » is launching his very own exposition « Alaia, Azzedine Alaia in the 21st century ».

Featuring his creations from the last ten years, the exhibition will be launched on June 8th at the NRW-Forum Dusseldorf.

Every room will display a different material, that he consistently used over the past years (velvet, fur, woll, leather, knitwear, just to name a few).

The exhibition has been curated entirely by Mark Wilson/Groninger Museum and  will move to Paris next October at Musée Galliera, where it will stay till January 2014.
