By Crash redaction
‘Prehistoric’ exhibition by Rick Owens will be presented at Carpenters Workshop Gallery Mayfair, London gallery this September 9th.
Better known for his iconic fashion designs Rick Owens uses his minimalist style to create a series of monochromatic furniture. In this exhibition, Rick Owens shapes a transversal universe, from fashion to design. Through his choices of subtle and rare materials, such as 500 000 year old fossilised wood, Rick Owens suggests the beauty of nature and develops a contrasting palette of black and white that reflects the designer’s taste for monochrome. With high quality craftsmanship, he has developed a collection of furnitures, volume and plan expresses its signature. This exhibition is a look on the unchanging over time, in shapes, materials and uses.
From September 9th 2013 until 1 November 27th 2013 at Carpenters Workshop Gallery in London, Mayfair.
