For his second collection with Rochas, Charles de Vilmorin said he found himself « evolving towards more classicism, a sense of mystery but also lightness. » The collection celebrates Paris with classic blacks with contrasting ivory for modernity. The duality between black and white is explored throughout the looks and complimented with blue, emerald, bronze and crimson.  Graphic jacquards and prints of birds, flowers and harlequin diamonds are whimsical. Accented by doll-like bags, blush red cheeks and pleated hats this whimsicality takes on a theatrical feel. Stylized outerwear and high-waisted wide pants define the daytime looks and for evening more sensuous silhouettes, notably a black jersey dress with a white bird reimagined from the Rochas archives.
