Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose…

By Crash redaction

Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki embodies the universe of Rose Dior, designed by Victoire de Castellane and comprised of four collections showcasing the Dior flower par excellence, a reflection of pluralistic femininity. A sophisticated ambassador and a symbol of the House’s timeless elegance.

Discover our Rose Dior Couture story, featured in Crash 95 and shot by photographer Laura Marie Cieplik…

Christian Dior first concocted the iconic 1947 ‘New Look’ silhouette in the garden at his childhood home in Granville, ‘Villa Rhumbs.’ Acquiring a love of all things flora from his mother, the rose became emblematic of the house, and appeared again and again in prints, embroidery, and brocades. In her latest collection for Rose Dior Couture, Victoire de Castellane dreams up bangles, rings and necklaces, in rose, yellow and white gold, frosted with diamonds, that enlace their wearers, male and female alike, in a fashion reminiscent of the intertwining stems of a rose, the flower that was so adored by the couturier. It’s a timeless collection and evocative of the words of monsieur Dior himself, ‘Fortunately have flowers.’
