SAINT LAURENT’S FIRST BELGIAN STORE
By Léo Mazzella
Saint Laurent expands its international influence by providing the Saint Laurent experience in its first Belgian store, in Brussels. This inauguration is a personal one for Anthony Vaccarello, given Brussels being his hometown and the architecture being his vision brought to life. The store features floating displays of precious marble, rough exposed plaster, black glass, mirrored surfaces and marble on the walls. An intimate and elegant mix of materials, almost like a film noir movie where dangerous stilettos and trench coats hide in the shadows of a cigarette ashtray.
The stained gray and white flooring are complimented with pops of color such as a deep blue and a vivid orange, bringing life and dimension to the space. The VIPs can enjoy a presentation of vintage furniture on the first floor where they will find their room. Both men and women collections as well as accessories and shoes are on display. The store is located 56 Boulevard de Waterloo 1000 Brussels, Belgium, the heart of Brussels.
