After a highly successful and inspiring partnership in 2023, Samsøe Samsøe has invited Giotto Calendoli in Copenhagen to work on a second edition of their collaboration.

The Milan-based designer and chef combines his two passions to create unique everyday objects such as plates, mugs and pitchers for his brand “Handle with Freedom” – always complemented by his own illustrations and writing.

To create an exclusive range for summer, he once again applies his creative vision to some of the brand’s timeless products.

For this collaboration, Giotto drew inspiration from his childhood summers spent on the beaches near his hometown in Naples. As a result, classic Samsøe Samsøe tote bags, T-shirts and baseball caps frame Calendoli’s artistic expression, which manifests itself in the form of crosswords, parasols and its unique features.

The creative process and final designs are captured in a special campaign that shows Calendoli at the brand’s headquarters in Nørrebro, wearing looks from the collaboration as well as other styles from Samsøe Samsøe’s Pre fall 24 collection. The shots offer an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes showcasing phrases and sceneries that inspired the designs.
