The first live show for Schiaparelli since the beginning of the pandemic took place under the roof of the Petit Palais in the heart of Paris, opening Haute Couture Week. The pandemic pushed Daniel Roseberry in a different direction while creating this collection, looking to reach the same level of intensity and of the supernatural without color and volume, and return towards the elementary; black, white, and gold. Roseberry’s gravity defying and aerodynamic looks showcase a new redefined gold for Schiaparelli.  Ethereal, other worldly looks, accompanied by eccentric gilded body parts, naive effigies embroidered with cabochons and vintage crystals create Roseberry’s desired level of the supernatural while reflecting the tangible surrealism of our current times.
