SENSUAL SCI-FI IN THE MASHA MA SPRING/SUMMER 2018 COLLECTION

For her spring/summer 18 collection, Chinese designer Masha Ma tapped into aesthetics of sci-fi movies like Wong Kar-wai’s 2046 which was one of her principal inspirations as well as 80s goth. Sexy black leather dresses and belted suits grace the runway, as well fishnet tops and badass chokers. Signature Masha Ma total white looks are still present in the form of an immaculate white blazer and an all-white sporty tracksuit. The shoes of the season are some lace-up thigh-high boots in acid yellow or white. Mixing classic Chinese references with a modern twist, we can’t wait to see what the designer will do next.
