SHYGIRL UNVEILS NEW SINGLE FEATURING YSEULT

By Max Mendel

Shygirl releases “F*Me,” the lead single from her forthcoming EP, Club Shy Room 2. Featuring French artist Yseult, the track combines sharp vocal interplay with a serrated, pulsing arrangement, setting a provocative tone for the Valentine’s Day release.

The song explores themes of desire and agency, pairing Shygirl’s commanding performance with Yseult’s simmering verses and an infusion of French rap. Their contrasting vocal styles add texture to the track and create a sense of dynamism.

Having opened for Beyoncé and Charli XCX on their respective tours, Shygirl continues to refine her defiantly underground approach, crafting music that feels equally incisive and exploratory.

The video, directed by Ferina, enhances the track with visuals that combine a nostalgic, vintage digital feel with dynamic camera movement. This creates a « through-the-phone » effect, bringing Shygirl and Yseult’s collaboration to life with a balance of tactile allure and immediacy.

As Club Shy Room 2 approaches its release, “F*Me” offers a confident glimpse into Shygirl’s ever-expanding musical identity.
