SPEND THE NIGHT AT THE GALERIES LAFAYETTE

As part of its “A Night At” campaign, Airbnb has paired up with Galeries Lafayette for the launch of a unique competition resulting in the chance of spending one exclusive night inside the iconic Parisian department store.

To enter the competition is very simple. Anyone interested – and who isn’t? – should log HERE to tell the world why they should be selected for this experience of a lifetime. The competition runs from December 19 until December 29.

For six lucky fashion addicts, the night of January 6th 2015 is going to be an experience they will never forget. The Galeries Lafayette’s official January Sales starting on January 7th, so choosing to have this event taken place just the night before was no coincidence. It will indeed have the participants immersed into the excitement that is the preparation of such a key event. Accessing the store just after the doors have been closed to public, the lucky six will not only have unprecedented behind-the-scene access to the sales, but they will also get the chance to have a personal shopper select the perfect items for them. In the Galeries Lafayette’s huge closet, they will be given the opportunity to look through all the outfits they want and try them on while also being offered a €200 voucher.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. As if this once-in-a-lifetime fashion experience wasn’t enough, an exquisite dinner will see them fed to their hearts content under the store’s iconic dome. Then, they will be shown to their premium bedrooms where they will spend the night, eager to keep the dream going. Without a doubt, the dream will be continuing until the next morning, which will kick off with a French breakfast and the very exciting privilege to shop their favorite on sale items just before the madness begins and the store opens to the public.

Opened in 1907, Galeries Lafayette welcomes more than 30 millions visitors every year and hosts more than 2,500 brands on over 66,000m2 of spaces. The six winners will be selected worldwide and will have access to the annual January Sales in all exclusivity before the 100,000 shoppers present in front of the department store’s doors each year.
