SPORTMAX FALL-WINTER 2016 MILAN
Sportmax Fall Winter 2016 is graphic inspired: geometrical prints are everywhere, from knits to outwear and even mixed in a same outfit. Patchwork leather jackets inspired from the 70s are a must in the collection: a puzzled outcome in all shades of brown and orange with wide revers showing the lining in wool. We find in the same model, long coats gown’ inspired and short adjusted jackets, a fur beige version with dark brown stripes paired with a knitted striped and loose ensemble. Long oversized coats with sleeves in mixed patterns and made of different materials and colors are certainly one of the high desirable pieces of the collection. The stoles are also accompanying the whole runway show: most of the time in fur they aren’t worn around the shoulders but as a short poncho falling on the back. Geometrical prints are also on long green angora sweater or khaki wool long coats decorated with black patches in all shapes. For a sporty touch, long dresses are worn underneath a knitted openwork sleeveless tunics. Finally, we find leather dresses with a tear in the front to reveal an underlayer of plissé or again silk ones zipped on the waist. A mix and match collage inspired collection but with a strong vibe that will make us remembering it for a while at least.
