ST-GERMAIN LIQUEUR X ALEXIS MABILLE

By Roisin Breen

To celebrate the end of the year the iconic Parisian liqueur, St-Germain, (named after the iconic Parisian neighbourhood, which is the homeplace of Crash) has partnered with the creator Alexis Mabille to offer a unique gift box with each bottle of liqueur.

Alexis Mabille is a French fashion designer, passionate about clothing from an early age, he trained at Ungaro and Nina Ricci, and devoted nine years to Christian Dior under the direction of John Galliano and Hedi Slimane. After having collaborated with famous French houses such as Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme, he developed his own brand, now synonymous with the modernization of the bow tie and haute couture. His sensibility for materials, textures, colors and structures naturally guided him towards decoration and the creation of furniture and decorative objects for his own studio Beau Bow Paris. Froufrou, Boeuf sur le Toit, Maison de la Truffre, Cipriani Saint-Tropez and very recently Carmona, have all been graced with the Mabille style which is imbued with a very French identity, adopting a cosmopolitan and contemporary way of life.

For the collaboration, Mabille imagined an elegant setting, inspired by French chic and the Parisian 1930s from which he draws his inspiration. The choice of colors and the meticulousness of the designer in the details give character to this original box and its iconic acon.

The box combines the talent and decorative style of Alexis Mabille and his Beau Bow decoration office with the St-Germain universe, the iconic elderberry director wears his garment of light with oral inspiration whose gilding echoes the rounding of the brand. By combining the interplay of colors and materials, the creator declines his oral inspirations and redraws this wild and ephemeral fleur that he mixes with his fetish bow tie.To add a touch of elegance to cocktails of the year, this limited edition set unveils a large gold-plated clip and a box containing gold petals. The perfect idea to enhance the St-Germain Royal, the brand’s signature cocktail at this time of year.
