The dial’s design, which reflects innovation and avant-garde is telling us a story all day long. At 12 o’clock the hour-indicator is subtly traced in light grey; at 3 o’clock the « machine room » is revealed through to an original mechanism of « tooth-weels » that turn to the rhythm of the movement. The power reserve indicator of the Steampunk evokes the image of the steam boat while thee Romain Jerome logo is discreetly ingrained to remind the brand’s identity. This timepiece is exquisitely modern in all its details: an anchor-shaped component with « Côtes de Genève » decorations holds the tourbillon’s cage together, and the sun is represented by the 12 o’clock barrel. In fact, it is as if all natural elements were represented by one timepiece – earth, wind, water, fire.
