Max Mara presented its A/W 2019 show yesterday in Milan, opening a discussion about femininity and how it goes hand in hand with feminism. How do clothes actually allow a woman to feel empowered and do the nature of the clothes define who she is? For Max Mara, feeling empowered is wearing outfits that let your personality shine and enable you to be comfortable in your own skin. Outfits that elevate you and convey a sense of glamour. On the runway of course, the shoulders were very bold, for a power look reminiscent of the 80s, suits were seen in all the shades of the rainbow and thigh-high leather boots completed the bossy looks.
