SUKI WATERHOUSE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “MODEL, ACTRESS, WHATEVER”

By Crash Redaction

Suki Waterhouse has just unveiled the latest single from her upcoming album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin. Titled « Model, Actress, Whatever, » the track is accompanied by a music video directed by Tyler Falbo. The new single follows her previous releases, « My Fun, » « Faded, » and « Supersad, » further building anticipation for the full album.

« Model, Actress, Whatever » showcases Waterhouse’s signature blend of rock-infused soundscapes and tender vocals. Described as a delicate ballad, the song features her honeyed voice layered over a steady, evolving groove. Lyrically, Waterhouse uses this track to explore raw truths, breaking the illusion of perfection and delving into deeper emotions.

In the music video, Waterhouse is portrayed on a film set, struggling with her acting performance as she is chastised by the director. As the video progresses, she sings the melancholic song while navigating an action-packed movie scene, a stark contrast to the somber tone of the track. This juxtaposition emphasizes the tension between the persona she projects and the emotional vulnerability she reveals through her music.

With her new single  « Model, Actress, Whatever, » Memoir of a Sparklem promises to be a compelling album that offers a glimpse into her artistic world.
