‘TAMBOUR BATTANT’ BY J.M. WESTON

By Crash

J.M. Weston’s artistic director Olivier Saillard presented a concert performance for the house last Tuesday on the occasion of the Paris Men’s Fashion Week. The performance shed light on the collaboration between the luxury shoemaker and the Garde Républicaine. In fact, J.M. Weston has been providing the regimental cavalry riders’ boots for a moment now and to celebrate this historical relationship, what better event than a concert? Sheila E., Prince’s iconic drummer, was present that night to play with the Garde Républicaine’s drums. The prestigious A-list crowd included friends of the house like Tilda Swinton, Pedro Winter, Aymeline Valade and Nicolas Maury.

Olivier Saillard has been vocal about wanting to push more performances forward to create a dialogue between fashion, luxury and arts. The Garde’s boots are available on demand and will soon inspire a new collection…
