“Bravery never goes out of fashion” open the notes for the Carolina Herrera Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Presented at New York Fashion Week, the collection centers around the self-assured, strong and fiery Carolina Herrera woman. Linear and tailored silhouettes are prominent this season however the collection is far from lacking in color and extravagance.  Cascading fabrics, exaggerated sleeves, and bright colors come to the forefront. Saturated berry tones and yellows pop on the white runway. Bold floral prints and fabrics including denim, silk moirés, crisp taffetas and failles, signature Herrera cotton shirting, knits embroidered with threadwork and sequins and a lurex brocade create the looks imagined by Wes Gordon for the muse of his collection, the daring and confident woman.
