« THE CASTLE », A CRASH 74 EDITORIAL WITH HAYETT MCCARTHY

HAYETT MCCARTHY IS THE NEW FACE OF BURBERRY SS16 CAMPAIGN
Hayett McCarthy is the new face for Burberry Spring-Summer 2016 campaign. Shot by Mario Testino, the campaign stays true to Burberry’s core values giving a punk vibe to the British brand classic style. Hayett took part to our fashion story « The Castle » shot by photographer Joe Lai. With her androgen silhouette, Hayett has the peculiar charm of a wild beauty, with her long brown messy hair, unusual strong traits and a beautiful pale skin. Her tenure reminds us to the punk nights of Studio 54, at the best of the ’70s and ’80s. It is not a surprise that she was chosen for the new Burberry’s campaign, while reinterpreting some women’s classics models as the British trench or the tailored black smoking. The new Burberry allure gives a new freshness to the brand, all that seemed left to the Brit label to achieve. But also our last issue featured Hayett at her best, in a minimalist but romantic landscape in which she seems perfectly to fit in. We take the occasion to give you a glimpse on our editorial « The Castle », featuring Hayett McCarthy on Crash 74 (buy the issue here: www.kdpresse.com/en/Crashmagazine/75/):
