THE UGG « FEEL HOUSE » COMES TO PARIS

By Roisin Breen

A fully immersive space custom built for Paris’ creative community in a celebration of uniqueness, self-expression and individual identity, Ugg opened the doors to “The Feel House”. The first of its kind to open this side of the Atlantic, the space was a place for freedom and new ideas to flourish amongst a like-minded community.

Housed in the iconic venue, Electric Paris, in Paris 10eme arrondissement, Feel House opened its doors with an exclusive soirée Thursday 19th October, followed by a weekend jam-packed full of events and workshops from UGG shoe tattooing led by Dylan Long-Cho, to tooth gems and nail art by Lili Creuk, perfumery workshops with Le Labo and boot personalisation by artist Enfant Précoce.

The Feel house also hosted a dinner, in partnership with We Are Ona, to launch the brand’s new AW23 collection of weatherproof clothing and footwear, UGGextreme.

Contrary to popular belief, Ugg was founded in California, (not Australia) but indeed by an Australian surfer who had made his home there. The “Ugg” boot was a popular term coined for boots that surfers would wear after a long day out at sea, that its founder wanted to bring out of the Australian coastline and to the rest of the world. The new Autumn/Winter collection is an homage to this original mission, but with a broader selection for Ugg wearers from all cities, all climates, bringing chunky rubber soles and waterproof outer materials to the cozy warm inner linings Ugg is so synonymous with.

Available around the world in Feel Houses and Ugg stores from New York, to San Francisco, Los Angeles, to Paris, London, to Tokyo, Shanghai and Beijing.
