THE YOOX x TOILET PAPER CONFUSION PARTY

By Crash

For the second year in a row, Maurizio Cattelan’s magazine Toiletpaper and the online shop Yoox celebrated Milan Design Week together with an unexpected event. The party was called “Confusion” and aimed to surprise guests like they’d never been before. In order to subvert a predictable night, the theme of the evening was the absence of an evening, which resulted in an unexpected and ironic confusion of styles and references. All the guests received different dresscodes – that went from Wedding Crasher to Wannabe Influencer – and arrived at the party greeted by an announcer in period costume.

The treats you could expect grabbing at the party included Made in Catteland, Confusion Party x Yoox baseball caps created exclusively for the event (but there are some still available on the Yoox website). The party moods were scattered all over the place with no unique theme. You could find nods to the Okotoberfest, the drinks were served by skaters in classy evening dresses and the photo-call was set against a visual of a departing plane, complete with chromed Rimowa suitcases. Discover the photos of the party below.
