TOD’S FACTORY COLLABORATES WITH ALBER ELBAZ

By Crash

Tod’s had announced last September that it was launching Tod’s Factory, a project that consisted in giving a talent – whether it be a designer or an artist – the possibility to design his own line for the brand. Four times a year, the iconic Tod’s accessories will be given a makeover by different creators chosen by Diego Della Valle. This initiative echoes the big fashion houses’ will to open their market to a younger generation, in need of fresh ideas and constant evolution. The first to be welcomed in the Tod’s family was Allessandro Dell’Aqua with a collection of about twenty pieces, including ready-to-wear and shoes.

Alber Elbaz is the second designer to collaborate with Tod’s Factory and all we know is the emphasis will be on the accessories. Since he left Lanvin in 2015, the designer has been involved in many collaborations with brands like LeSportsac or Converse. This news is sure to thrill fans of Elbaz! We can’t wait to see how this collection will unfold!
