For her first Trussardi women spring/summer 2014 collection, creative director, Gaia Trussardi was inspired by David Lynch’s dark films to a road trip through endless dry landscapes of the New Mexico and Arizona deserts

Gaia Trussardi used the notion of the great American road trip as fodder and present us a collection with a color palette composed of teal blue, terracotta, and pale green. In this collection, luxurious materials are mixed with Italian panache. She used them for simple garments: leisure time shorts are made of alligator leather, while silk blouses have colorful python leather trim. She has shown tremendous skill.
