UJOH SPRING/SUMMER 2025 COLLECTION

By Iris JEANSON

Ujoh unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at the Palais the Tokyo in Paris. The collection redefines tailored fashion by blending structure with lightness to create versatile and comfortable pieces.

Designer Nishizaki focuses on maintaining everyday elegance while prioritizing comfort in an evolving climate. Highlights include cut-off jackets shaped to fit body contours, straight-cut jackets, wide trousers and skirts with deep slits for movement, and restructured sleeve-ties from shirts. These designs embody Ujoh’s concept of reconstruction, adding elements to spaces created through strategic cutting techniques.

The collection showcases Ujoh’s signature three-dimensional pattern-making, emphasizing smart tailoring that controls garment shapes from a pattern-maker’s perspective. A standout feature is the collaboration with Reebok, which draws inspiration from Nishizaki’s nostalgic memories of the 1990s. This partnership introduces lightweight, water-repellent nylon washer fabric, luxurious materials, and iconic drawcord details, merging Ujoh’s design elements with activewear.

Overall, the SS25 collection continues Ujoh’s legacy of innovation by offering a fresh take on everyday elegance, perfectly suited for the modern, dynamic lifestyle.
