UMBRO S/S 22 BY SEBASTIAN STRAPPAZZON

By Crash redaction

The Umbro Spring/Summer 2022 collection is composed of 13 pieces created by designer Sebastian Strappazzon, co-founder of the brand Avnier the collection draws its inspiration from the world of youth culture and the exhilaration brought on by football’s most brilliant moments. Unisex by nature, the garments offer streetwear silhouettes enhanced with athletic codes and fashion details. The Umbro logo is also revisited, this time with a glitch effect, expressly deconstructed for a more aggressive finish. Flocked on T-shirts, polo shirts and hoodies, this logo marks this season’s collaboration with the designer. Inspired by the strong ups and downs of emotions during a match, Umbro has depicted the game’s euphoria through a heat-mapping inspired colour palette, thus exploring the method of mapping emotions on the body through a variation of hues and gradients. T-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, sweatshirts and tracksuits are supplied in these thermal colours ranging from blue and green to yellow and red. More than ever reminiscent of the football culture, the tracksuit jacket, a key piece of this collection, is revamped and offered in a modern lifestyle version. Created as a unisex piece, it brings the sport’s vibe to the streets with a score of parity. This season, the Terrace jacket is available in black and green and is paired with a coordinated black track pant.

The Umbro “Our Game Lives Beyond the Pitch, 2nd Half” collection is available now on the Umbro France e-shop and in stores with prices ranging from 15 to 170 euros. Discover the collection below.
