VALENTINO FALL 2025: THE POETICS OF EVERYDAY LIFE
By Iris JEANSON
In a world full of with noise, movement, and constant stimulation, Valentino’s Fall 2025 campaign emerges as a gentle pause—a moment to breathe and reflect. Titled The Poetics of Everyday, the campaign, conceived by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, reclaims the beauty of the ordinary.
The concept is grounded in a philosophy of presence. Against the backdrop of today’s visual overload—where images shout and moments blur—Michele proposes a static gaze. A fixed camera becomes our observer, not chasing spectacle, but capturing stillness: the quiet magic of a door opening, the subtle rhythm of a bar waking up, the soft rituals of morning light.
This campaign isn’t about grand gestures or dramatic transformation. It’s about finding enchantment in the mundane and about embracing life as it is, with its repetitions, its softness, and its fragile beauty. Michele describes this approach as “a policy of attention,” an intentional choice to slow down and see the beauty embedded in our daily routines.
Far from being inert, the everyday is presented as the true stage of human experience. It is the silent framework of existence, built from flickers of light and spontaneous revelations, inviting us to stay grounded and present. The Valentino Fall 2025 collection becomes a vehicle for this vision, dressing these ephemeral moments in elegance, calm, and intimacy.
With The Poetics of Everyday, Valentino offers a new aesthetic a new ethic—one that whispers rather than shouts, one that sees rather than consumes. It is an ode to the subtle miracle of simply being alive.
