In the Valentino Anatomy of Couture collection, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli designed for a variety of female body types. The collection is a harmonization of different types of beauty highlighting the richness and diversity of the contemporary world and promoting an idea of beauty that is not absolute, one that does not idealize just one specific cultural construct of beauty. Celebrating the female body; form fitting silhouettes, extremely short hems, and deep necklines that reveal the torso, allow for skin to show and convey beauty in a welcoming expression. Despite the different body types the looks present a coherent proposal and reiterate the codes of Valentino Couture.
