Y-3 FALL WINTER 2017/2018 COLLECTION PARIS

By Crash redaction

PARIS HOSTS Y-3’S FALL-WINTER 2017/18 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

To conclude the presentations of Fall Winter 2017/18 collections during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto’s brand Y-3 presented its collection on January 22 at Palais de Tokyo: an appropriate setting to welcome a futuristic and digital collection that also nods to nature. Once again, we see a very dark line principally composed of black tones, worthy of the brand’s DNA, with avant-garde pieces illustrated by combinations, capes, voluminous cuts, hanging sleeves, or sleeves that open. A very futuristic selection of sneakers appears with all black or khaki colors, high and low tops, bands or fabrics like neoprene covering the shoes.

We also find many looks embellished with the camouflage print to recall the spirit of nature, since the show intended to offer a collection that corresponds to the current society: highly connected in an ultra-digital era, while linking to nature that steers our universe above all else, like a return to the source. And so we find pieces with a rambling spirit that continue to reference nature with backpacks, bandages, wide fabrics, and comfort that reflect a sporty line worthy of the brand. Quality materials like neoprene, nylon, and others create a sprightly high-end line that you can discover in pictures.
