The Fall/Winter 24 Collection, presented in the form of a look book, serves as a tribute to Glenn Martens’ decade-long tenure as the creative director of the brand. Drawing inspiration from his illustrious career and the essence of Y/Project.
What makes this project truly special is the collaborative spirit that defines it. Friends and family, including notable personalities like Charli XCX, Ursina Gysi, and even Glenn’s father. Under the lens of the photographer Arnaud Lajeunie, they donned Y/Project’s creations, breathing life into each garment with their individuality.
The journey of Glenn Martens to the summit of the fashion world is nothing short of remarkable. Hailing from Bruges, Belgium, Martens honed his craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. His talent and passion for design caught the eye of none other than Jean Paul Gaultier, leading to a pivotal role in the women’s precollection team in 2008.
In 2013, Martens was named as Creative Director at Y/Project, igniting a new chapter in the brand’s storied history. Since then, his visionary approach to design has captivated the industry, earning him widespread acclaim and a dedicated following.
